Strong Women Strong Business is proud to unveil its new cultural artwork and logo package, a visual identity that captures the strength, leadership and aspirations of First Nations women in business.
Created by Yirra Miya Founder and Creative Director Leticia Forbes, a proud Wiradjuri and Torres Strait Islander woman, the artwork and logo package reflect the journey of women in business, the power of connection and the legacy being built for future generations.
At the heart of the artwork is the story Strong Women, Strong Business – Growing Future Generations. The artwork celebrates women who are building businesses, sharing knowledge, supporting one another and creating opportunities for generations to come. It honours resilience, self-empowerment, collective strength and the important role women play as leaders, knowledge holders, mentors and matriarchs.
The artwork features three generations of women gathered together, symbolising the transfer of knowledge and the pathways being created for those who follow. A woven mat sits at the centre, representing the interwoven layers of culture, community, experience and connection that women bring to their business journeys.
Throughout the artwork, waterways symbolise rejuvenation, resilience and the enduring connection between people, Country and community. Seeds, leaves and wattle flowers represent growth, opportunity and the flourishing futures that women continue to cultivate within their businesses and communities. A community circle acknowledges the positive impact that women in business create through leadership, economic participation and community contribution.
Complementing the artwork is a new logo that incorporates significant cultural elements including women sitting together, journey lines, connected meeting places, growing leaves and planted seeds. Together, these symbols tell a story of connection, growth, collaboration and shared success.
The logo reflects the essence of the Strong Women Strong Business program: women coming together in strength, sharing experiences, supporting one another and walking alongside each other on their business journeys. It represents both individual achievement and collective impact.
The package also includes a suite of cultural elements and icons that can be used across communications, events, digital platforms and promotional materials. These visual assets provide flexibility while maintaining a strong and consistent identity that is unmistakably connected to the values and purpose of the program.
More than a branding refresh, the new artwork and logo package are a celebration of the women who make up the Strong Women Strong Business community. They recognise the knowledge, determination and leadership of First Nations women who continue to create thriving businesses, strengthen communities and inspire future generations.
As Strong Women Strong Business continues to evolve, this new visual identity will serve as a powerful representation of the program’s commitment to supporting First Nations women to grow, connect and succeed. It is a story of strength, belonging, growth and legacy, told through culture, creativity and community.
