Dionne is a proud Kalkadoon woman. In 2009, Dionne and her partner Adrian established a small mobile welding business in Cloncurry. The business has evolved to a labour hire firm, providing services to the mining and construction industry. Through partnerships with other local businesses and Traditional Owners, the company combines industry and local knowledge to meet the needs of clients and regional communities.

Jahna is a proud Nyiyaparli and Yindjibarndi woman from the Pilbara. A strong Indigenous community leader, she has worked for over 18 years as an advocate for equal rights and reconciliation. Jahna has represented her people at the United Nations, with regard to children’s rights and equal access to employment, education and training for women. Jahna is Executive Officer of Gumala Aboriginal Corporation, and a board member of Pilbara Aboriginal Corporations and Enterprises, IBN Corporation, WA Country Arts and the Curtin University Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander Advisory Committee.

Gillian is a proud Bidjara woman with over 25 years’ experience in the telecommunications industry, from project management to design. Gillian is a trailblazer who sets, rather than follows, trends. This started at a young age, when she became the first Aboriginal woman to qualify as an electrician, the first to represent companies in the telecommunications industry, and the first to successfully establish a company in the telecommunications industry (Fibre Optics NQ).
